AGCPN Assessment is a relational, thorough opportunity to gauge your potential calling as a church planter.
One church planter said:
“Attending church planting assessment center was extremely encouraging for me at my ministry. Before I attended I believed [assessment] would be a time of picking apart and exposing inadequacies but instead the week was the exact opposite. I was encouraged, specifically about how God has designed me uniquely for ministry and I also learned to rejoice in my areas of weakness because when I am weak, I can see Christ is strong.”
Our assessment is a response to Romans 12:3: “For by the grace given me I say to every one of you: Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought, but rather think of yourself with sober judgement, in accordance with the faith God has distributed to each of you.”. The heart of assessment is helping church planting candidates discover God’s calling and giftedness as it relates to church planting.
To fulfill this AGCPN uses a process that encompasses four days of working through leadership inventories, holding conversations, participating in exercises, and evaluations for a planter and spouse, if married. Our program was developed by Dr. J. Allen Thompson, President of the International Church Planting Center.
