• Shane received his MDiv from RTS-Jackson in 1990. Shane and his wife Jean have planted four churhces. Shane currently serves as the director of the Aspen Grove Church Planting Network. When not engaged in the work of the church planting, Shane dwells in the mountains northwest of Steamboat Springs, Colorado, hunting elk or fly fishing. Shane and Jean have four grown children, and one grandchild. Jean is a full-time real estate agent and Shane recently completed a memoir, Moon Suun, a story of resolved familial pain told in a fishing tale.

  • Michael serves as Teaching pastor at Downton Church in Memphis. He is married to Serena and they have three children. He is passionate about expositional preaching, shepherding and equipping the people of God. Michael holds a B.S. from the University of Missouri and an M.Div from Covenant Theological Seminary. Michael serves on numerous boards focused on bring hope and healing to Memphis, serves the EPC in numerous capacities including Chief Collaborative Officer. As CCO, Michael identifies, empowers and equips in order to help faciliated the EPC’s mission. He also serves on the AGCPN executive committee. He enjoys sports, photography, BBQ, jazz music and spending time with his family.

  • Cron is the founder and Executive Director of the Hopewell equipping and counseling ministry center. His passion is helping people find life-transforming hope, build deep and satisfying relationships with others, and learn peace in their own souls in the midst of the deepest struggles in their lives and relationships. Cron is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Clinical Fellow at AAMFT and an EPC teaching elder. Cron and Elizabeth worked for Cru for seven years before planting three churches.

  • Brian was born and raised on the east side of Detroit. Brian currently serves as platner/pastor of Spoint7 Community Church, EPC in downtown Detroit. After spending his teenage years entagle in the brokenness and dysfunction that was rampant in his community, Brian was converterd at age 19, and called to ministry a couple of years later. Brians has spent 22 years involved in inner-city ministry, both in Atlanta and Detroit. After completing a two year residency at First Presbyterian Chruch of Trenton, MI, Brian was called back to east Detroit, where Brian and his wife Shannon, have planted a gospel-centered, community serving church. Brian and Shannon have five children.

  • Richard is a church planter, and pastor in the EPC. Since 1994, he has planted and pastored three churches including his present, Downtown Church located in downtown Memphis, Downtown Church is a multi-ethnic, multi-class chruch. Richard serves the EPC national church planting team and coaches church planters. He’s served as an assessor numerous times for AGCPN. Richard’s passion is to raise up African American ministers for the EPC, training them in multi-ethnic/class church planting and pastoring. Richard and Rachel have been married for 35 years, have three married children, seven grandchildren. They love to play tennis and spend time together on the lake or beach. Richard is an avid runner, and enjoys fly fishing and hunting.

  • Tommy became a Christian in his senior year of High School through the ministry of YoungLife, after which he spent four years in the Army as an Airborne Ranger. In 1996, after graduating from seminary and serving as an Assistant Pastor in Atlanta, Judy and he accepted a call to plant a church in Seattle’s Capital Hill neighborhood. After five years, he did a brief stint as a neuroscience sales rep before becoming a pastor again in Washington state where he served for 17 years. Over the past two decades, Tommy has trained and coached scores of church planters around the US. Among other things, he has written articles for major Christian periodicals. His current call is to be a church planter and evangelist in Spokane, WA.

  • Elizabeth and Cron have been married for 32 years. They have two adult children. They have worked in ministry most of their married lives. Elizabeth worked with Cru discipling college students and serving as associate director. She has labored alongside Cron planting three churches. Elizabeth is passionate about serv ing church planting couples. Elizabeth is presently engaged in helping three presbyteries on the east coast form a church planting network and serves on the AGCPN executive committee. She possesses a wealth of assement experience having assessed for the PCA and EPC. In her free time Elizabeth enjoys time with her family, painting furniture and sitting in the sun.

  • Steven caught the church planting bug in 2005 when God gave Faith EPC in Aurora, Colorado the vision to plant seven churches. He’s received training by Dynamic Church Planting International (DCPI), Global Church Advancement (GCA), J. Allen Thompson and the PCA assessment center. Steven serves as ruling elder and staff at Faith Aurora, serves on the executive committee of AGCPN, and has served as administrator of AGCPN Assessment Workshop numerous times. Steven and his wife Robin have been married 14 years and have three children. Steven enjoys Adventur Motorcyle riding, fly fishing, building and flyine radio-controlled aircraft and spending tiem with his 300 gallon reef tank and his beloved Rhodesian Ridgeback dog, Ranger.

  • A writer and editor based in Connecticut, Kerry loves diving into the deep riches of the Bible and sharing what she finds with others. She’s written a book on the Ten Commandments and has two other books in the works. She edits creative and academic work under the appellation of VisionQuill and founded a humble home bakery known as The Queen’s Scones. Kerry has worked in advancement and event planning, taught English to teens and adults, and written features for parenting and business publications. As well, she has hosted and produced a radio program, preached, led worship, taught Bible classes, counseled, and created online and in-service graphics and content. She has a degree from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary and has been married quite a long time.
